I’m Jessica Telford — farm wife, mom of two, lifelong fall enthusiast, and the heart behind Homegrown Porch Co. For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved everything about autumn: the warmth it brings, the gathering of family, the beauty of harvest season, and creating outdoor spaces that make people feel instantly welcomed home.

For the past 15 years, decorating our own outdoor spaces for fall has become one of my greatest passions. What started with simple pumpkins and corn stalks slowly grew into layered displays, curated textures, and the kind of seasonal decorating that neighbors, friends, and family looked forward to each year.

But the roots of this story go even deeper.

My husband grew pumpkins for nearly 20 years, long before Homegrown Porch Co. ever existed. Farming and harvest seasons have always been woven into the fabric of our lives. Then in 2020, we started growing pumpkins with and for our kids, a project that began as a way to teach them responsibility, hard work, and the joy that comes from growing something together as a family.

What began as a small family pumpkin patch quickly grew year after year.

Today, we grow more than 55 varieties of pumpkins on our family farm, and for the past six years, we’ve had the incredible joy of using pumpkins grown in our own fields to decorate our own home each fall. There’s something deeply special about waking up each day and experiencing a display with pumpkins you planted, nurtured, harvested, and arranged together as a family.

That experience became the inspiration behind Homegrown Porch Co.

Our vision is simple: to take farm-fresh pumpkins grown right here on our farm and thoughtfully curate them into beautiful, welcoming porch displays that capture the feeling and essence of fall for every family we serve.

Every porch is intentionally designed to feel unique to the home and family it welcomes. From selecting pumpkin varieties and harvesting in the field to arranging each display on your porch, this business is truly a family affair from start to finish.
